BARNAUL AGGLOMERATION AS A FORM OF INTERMUNICIPAL COOPERATION OF THE TERRITORIES
Abstract
Issues of equity in the distribution of economic resources in the country are discussed by theorists and economists for many years. At the present stage of socio-economic development of Russia, the growing popularity of the theme of territorial integration, which allows to manage the potential of the most developed areas in order to improve the standard of living of the population of the less developed territories. One such form of interaction is agglomeration.
In given article the experience of creating Barnaul agglomeration is described. The author draws conclusions about the need to improve current legislation for the expansion of the use of agglomeration interaction as an effective form of cooperation of the territories.
