Abstract. e quality ofhuman capital formation and the creation ofprerequisites for our
common future is signi cantly in uenced by the education system. At the same time, the e ec-
tiveness ofthe educational process depends on the internal orientation, motivation and satisfac-
tion with work, as well as the intention ofeach teacher to work with full dedication and engage
inself-improvement.  e psycho-emotional state ofthe teacher, as a rule, signi cantly a ects the
mood ofstudents, their attitude to study, the level ofassimilation oftheir knowledge and skills, as
well as the general orientation ofthe formation ofpersonal and professional qualities ofstudents.
In addition, motivated teachers, along with the fact that they are continuously and systematically
developing professionally, strive to master and introduce innovations into the educational process,
try to exchange experiences. On the part ofthe management ofan educational organization, it is
very important to constantly maintain high professional motivation ofscienti c and pedagogical
personnel, the necessary level oftheir satisfaction with their work and prevent professional „burn-
out“. To do this, it is necessary to use methods ofdiagnosis and evaluation ofmotivation. Inthis
article, based on the understanding and generalization ofthe existing experience, the author de-
scribes the main elements ofthe technology ofdiagnostics ofprofessional motivation ofscienti c
and pedagogical personnel.  e scienti c contribution consists inupdating the importance ofthe
process ofmanaging professional motivation ofscienti c and pedagogical personnel, indescrib-
ing the main tools for assessing its level, developing a blitz questionnaire to identify and assess
the signi cance offactors ofjob satisfaction, as well as indeveloping basic measures to increase
professional motivation. It is assumed that the proposed measures can help the management and
the workforce ofeducational organizations to solve the problem ofa possible decrease inthe mo-
tivation ofteachers and increase their satisfaction with their work.  e author draws the attention
ofthe management ofeducational organizations to the need for comprehensive and timely devel-
opment and implementation ofmeasures to improve professional competence and self-identi -
cation ofscienti c and pedagogical personnel using appropriate communication and interaction
formats.
