Abstract. e article presents some results ofthe author’s sociological research on theprob-
lems ofthe formation ofthe all-Russian identity ofyouth inthe context ofnew social challenges
andopportunities, conducted within theframework ofthe project “Youth ininterethnic commu-
nications: tolerance, tolerance, dialogue” in2021 and2022. e focus ofthis work is youth as a
period ofself-determination (“I am theconcept” and“I am theImage”) andself-determination
insociety (“We are theconcept” and“We are theImage”). e authors consider theproblems

andattitude ofthe image ofRussia inthe present and future. e subject area ofthe study is
thepeculiarities ofthe identi cation ofperception with Russians; theRussian people; theRussian
state; thepresent andfuture ofRussia; Russian culture (civilization), Homeland (Fatherland). e
semantic andphono-semantic content ofthe attitude ofRussian youth to these images is analyzed.
e peculiarities ofthe attitude ofyoung people to thenational goals broadcast by thestates as
thebasis forconstructing theimage ofRussia ofthe future are revealed. e author characterizes
thegoals-integrators ofRussia ofthe future inthe ideas ofthe youth itself, as well as theprospects
anddegree ofsocial subjectivity inthe conditions ofnew social challenges forRussian society.
