Annotation. erelevance ofthearticle isdue to theimportance ofannual monitoring to

assess thedrug safety oftheregion as an integral part ofnational security, building an anti-drug

policy taking into account thestate andpositive experience ofanti-drug activities. Taking into

account themultidimensional nature ofmonitoring studies ofthedrug situation, theauthor, when

determining thepurpose ofthestudy, primarily relies on theanalysis ofobjective factors, without

bypassing some subjective determinants ofthedrug situation with value judgments. emain

observations are made based on theanalysis oftheresults ofsociological research inthe format

ofannual monitoring covering thesix-year period 2017–2023. eauthor notes theimportance

ofanti-drug activity as an integral component ensuring thesafety ofmodern society; some gen-

eral assessments ofthesignicant determinants ofthedrug situation are formulated. eresults

ofthestudy are ofinterest to thesubjects oftheregion’s anti-drug policy indeveloping manage-

ment decisions to ensure its drug safety, organizing andbuilding anti-drug activities based on

accumulated experience andtaking into account their own capabilities.
