ECONOMIC FUNCTIONS OF SELF-EMPLOYMENT
Abstract
Self-employment as an economic and labor phenomenon has firmly entered the economic reality in the area of former USSR. The scientific community also actively explores self-employment, which, in turn, allocates a number of functions in it. The authors offer a review of the economic contribution of self-employment to the development of a country, which reflects various approaches to understanding this economic and labor phenomenon, and one of the forms of this phenomenon is freelancing. In addition, the authors prove that freelancing is a more progressive concept compared to the average statistical self-employment, comparing Russian-speaking freelancing and the average statistical self-employment of Kazakhstan. The authors also offer a tool for developing freelancing. The results of the work can be used in management of employment in the country.Downloads
