WEAKLY URBANIZED REGIONS: THE LABOR MARKET
УДК 331.5
Abstract
The work behavior of a person with his various social functions (the nature and intensity of activity, leisure, mobility, orientation) changes as favorable conditions for his social and professional development are provided. Urbanization is now becoming one of the important factors in the development of the economy and culture, having a significant impact on all aspects of modern society. Cities are centers of innovation and economic development, and become a magnet for people, attracting them with their opportunities and diversity.Changes in population distribution are due to a change in the type of its reproduction and the type of management. First of all, the effects of urbanization include changes in human needs and behavior, intensification of activities, use of free time, value orientations, etc. This study focuses on the interdependence of the labor market and the level of urbanization of the region. The analysis identified and confirmed the features and patterns of development of regional labor markets. The need to identify specific factors influencing its formation and functioning of the labor market is argued. This is especially true for regions with a low degree of urbanization, where, due to insufficient diversification of the economy, thereis a high level of overall unemployment.
