ETHNIC-CULTURAL INTERACTIONS IN POST-INDUSTRIAL SOCIETY: PROBLEMS AND PERSPECTIVES

Abstract

Within the framework of globalization, ethno-cultural interaction is increasing. International cultural dialogue strengthens mutual understanding between peoples and provides an opportunity to better understand their own national image. Globalization and global issues contribute to the dialogue of cultures. For mutual understanding and dialogue, so-called ethno-cultural literacy is necessary, and this entails consideration of such aspects as: awareness of differences in customs, cultural traditions, values, beliefs inherent in different peoples, the ability to see what is common and different between different cultures. Ethno-cultural interaction leads to the deepening of cultural self-development, to mutual enrichment, both within certain cultures and on the scale of world culture.
