BIOMETRY, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, NEURAL NETWORKS AS ELEMENTS OF A DIGITAL SOCIETY: PROBLEMS AND CHALLENGES

Abstract

The article discusses and analyzes the definitions of such terms as artificial intelligence, neural networks and biometrics. For the last decades, the transition to the so-called «digital», that is, to digital analogs, digitalization in general, is especially characteristic. Digital technologies form a fundamentally new basis for storing and transmitting information, which in turn leads to the transformation of the entire life of society. In this regard, the main goal of the article was to outline the main problems associated with the use and implementation of the following terms: artificial intelligence, neural networks and biometrics. As a result of the analysis, the author came to the conclusion that all terms are interrelated, and such categories of problems as ethical and technological were identified.
