Abstract
The article describes approaches and forms of implementation of the content of the educational program in accordance with the requirements of the federal state educational standard to the structure of educational programs of various levels of education. It considers the issue of forming interest of various age categories to traditions of folk decorative and applied art through the implementation of various forms into educational environment. This problem can be solved through the main general and professional educational programs, as well as additional educational programs. The use of folk arts in educational environment allows us to form knowledge about folk art, enrich visual creativity, and restore the continuity of generations in the formation and further development of traditional folk culture.
