INFORMATION CONTENT OF THE LIBRARIAN’S COLLECTION BY N. V. KOCHESHKOV AND G. A. OTAINA FOR THE STUDY OF ETHNOCULTURES OF THE EURASIAN SPACE

Abstract

One of the areas science activities of the scientific research sector of the Far Eastern Federal University Scientific Library (DVFU) is the disclosure of the information content of the fund of rare editions of the Scientific Library of the DVFU for students, teachers and all interested in the history of development and interaction of ethnocultures of the Eurasian space. This is justified by the interest in the ownership of book collections of famous Far Eastern ethnographers Nikolai Kocheshkov and Galina Otaina. The results of the study of their librarians collection are reflected in publications, reports at conferences of various levels, student events, lectures of the Scientific Library and other forms and methods of work in order to promote unique information about the ethnoculture of the peoples of the Eurasian space in the scientific and educational process of the university. The methodical analysis presents data for the period from 2017 to 2021.
