THE PROBLEM OF INFORMATION AUTOCRACY
Main Article Content
Abstract
The problem of modern political regimes is always relevant, since all states are transformed in an ever-changing world. It is particularly interesting how non-democratic regimes find new types and types of government. This is especially true for the CIS countries. States in the post-Soviet space have largely chosen an authoritarian type of government. In this regard, it is the «information autocracies» that are of interest to study. Information autocracies are a new type of government. This is the response of authoritarian regimes to the new challenges of the 21st century. In the modern world, non-democratic regimes are forced to act in a new way. Non-democratic regimes are forced to mimic democracy, which forces non-democratic regimes to adapt to the new reality. Where there is a global Internet, globalization, open borders and world media that will not allow you to act with the classic methods of dictatorships. Especially for Kazakhstan, this topic is acutely relevant. Since our country is going through the period of the «second» president who is increasingly receiving powers from the «leader of the nation». Our country has only the path of democratization left. These processes are delayed by the regime through the formation of an intermediate type of «information autocracies».
