PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF ALTAI TERRITORY POPULATION IN EXPERT EVALUATIONS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of patriotic education of Altai Territory population. The authors present the data of the sociological research carried out in 2021 among the experts of state authorities in the field of patriotic education, scientists, who deal with this problematic, and the representatives of public organizations. It was revealed that in the understanding of patriotism the experts, first of all, distinguish the emotional component, and the real patriot is distinguished by conscientious performance of civic duties, high level of patriotism, active civic position, readiness to protect the Motherland in a difficult situation. Patriotic education defined as a purposeful activity of fostering a respectful attitude towards the country, civic self-identification and love for the Motherland. Experts noted the average level of patriotic education in the region.
