Abstract
The article is devoted to the implementation of state-confessional policy in the Omsk region in the first post-war years. The archival documents studied by the author, shew multiple facts of administrative arbitrariness on the part of local authorities were recorded in the region in 1946–1948, which not only led to low church attendance and increase in the number of religious rites held at home with believers, but significantly increased the activities of unregistered clergy, also. Thus, despite the positive changes in the course of the state and confessional policy that occurred during the war, the condition of the Orthodox believers in this region remained difficult and ambiguous.
