ETHNIC-CULTURAL STEREOTYPES IN PERCEPTION OF THE RUSSIANS IN THE CHINESE'S MASS CONSCIOUSNESS (SOCIOLOGICAL ASPECT)

Abstract
The article is devoted to sociological aspects of the consideration of ethnic-cultural stereotypes in perception of the Russians in the Chinese's mass consciousness. The article gives theoretical understanding of the concepts of stereotype and ethnic-cultural stereotype. The stereotypical expression in the language has the majority of representations of ideas of the Chinese's culture bearers about the Russians, their behavior and appearance. The dynamics of changes in national cultural stereotypes exists; and it shoul dbe studied over time to identify changes in the interpretation of images. The article gives practical results of ideas about Russians in the form of an experiment aimed at identifying reactions in the Chinese's mass 96 consciousness to certain issues related to the image of the Russians. The article offers preliminary conclusions about the prevailing image and stereotypes based on the experiment's results.
