FORMS OF LEISURE ACTIVITIES IN THE FORMATION OF INTEREST IN THE TRADITIONS OF FOLK ARTS AND CRAFTS IN THE REGION

Abstract

This article considers various forms of leisure activities that contribute to the formation of interest of different age categories of people 106 in the arts and crafts of the Altai krai. Arts and crafts contribute to the creative spiritual and moral development of an individual, regardless of age and social status, forms value guidelines through the assimilation of value of folk art of the region, fosters respect for national culture, contributes to the development of thinking, perception, and memory. All these knowledge and skills formed and fixed in various leisure activities (master classes, competitions, excursions, and holidays). Today, the issue of educational potential of leisure, where decorative and applied art is used, is very relevant. It is significant for not only children and youth, but remains the most important for adults.
