HISTORICAL-ECONOMIC AND SOCIO-CULTURAL ASPECTS OF THE INTEGRATION PROCESSES BETWEEN KYRGYZSTAN AND ALTAI

Abstract

The article examines the historical, economic and socio-cultural ties of the integration processes of Kyrgyzstan and the Altai. Both regions have long had a lot in common in their history. Suffice it to say, the main epic hero of the world-famous Kyrgyz epic «Manas» was born in Altai. There are also many similarities in economic development and socio-cultural cooperation. As the study shows, in recent years, all these areas have gained a new impetus in their development. At the same time, interregional ties are very effective. This is evidenced by the work carried out within the framework of the concluded Agreement between the Administration of the Altai krai and the State Administration of the Osh Region of the Kyrgyz Republic on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, mutual training of personnel of various qualifications, participation in the World Nomad Games, etc.
