Abstract

The article is devoted to the principles of compiling a dictionary of mental states in Russian using the method. nominative-functional field. The term "field" is understood both as a unit of language and as a research method, as a result of which a linguistic field can be built, including a nominative-functional one. The study is carried out in line with anthropocentric linguistics. This direction seems to be especially relevant, given that the subject of description and systematization are mental states. The subject of the study is the lexicographic description of the nominative-functional field ‘SAD’. The structure of a dictionary entry includes the definition of the state, etymological characteristics, grammatical classification and a number of other parameters. The fragment (NFF) ‘TROUBLE- SAD’ is considered.
