Abstract
Basing on data of sociological monitoring of inter-ethnic relations in the Altai krai (population aged 18–70, n = 1 200) in 2021, author considers evaluations about migration processes in the region, directions of migration policy, and attitudes of the receiving community against migrants. A focus of the study was the revelation of effects by the COVID-19 pandemic and associated social limitations on the perception of migrants and their role in receiving community so as directions of transformation of the state migration policy.
