Abstract
The article presents results of testing about hypothesis on regional specifics of formation and development of a human capital in Russian regions, different by criteria and factors of social-economic development. Results of expert questioning in eight regions (n = 170) of Russian Federation – Alrai krai, Khabarovsk krai, Primorsky krai, Belgorod, Voronezh, and Chelyabinsk oblast are the base of the study. Mainly, experts told about the presence of strong influence between human capital and the efficiency of regional development. Meanwhile, each region is unique by the set of specific parameters, influencing its development.
