TRANSFORMATIONS OF THE INTELLECTUAL POTENTIAL OF RUSSIANS UNDER NEW SOCIOECONOMIC AND MIGRATORY CONDITIONS

Abstract

The intellectual potential of Russia's population in the current socio-economic conditions is the result of long-term trends formed on the basis of social reforms aimed at taking and maintaining high positions on the world stage of scientific achievements and technologies. Based on statistical data and the results of sociological monitoring studies (RLMS data for 25 years), the authors describe the main trends in changes in the scientific and educational potential of the population, identify the role of spatial and demographic factors that lead to an uneven distribution of intellectual potential in Russian society
