ETHNOINTEGRATION AS A FACTOR OF SOCIETY CONSOLIDATION

Abstract

This article deals with the problem of building sustainable interethnic interaction in the conditions of total globalization. It is noted that there are enough traditional tools that contribute to the unity of society and the need to improve them. The necessity of searching for new solutions in the aspect of consolidation of constantly emerging and changing modern large social groups is stated, and a number of advantages of the process of ethnointegration for strengthening all levels of social relations are presented. A brief overview of the directions of scientific research in solving problems related to the emergence and development of interethnic contradictions is presented. A number of proposals of modern Russian scientists on their resolution are outlined. Attention is paid to the presence of the following problems that hinder integration processes in ethnically heterogeneous societies: the existence of extreme forms of economic inequality; the lack of optimal mechanisms for the settlement of interfaith conflicts.
