RUSSIA IN THE PRESENT AND FUTURE – SEARCH FOR SOLIDARITY FORECASTS OR SEARCH FOR THE IDEAL?

Abstract

While preparing the article, we based on materials by expert questioning, realized during complex research in four Russian border territories (Altai and Khabarovsk krai, the Kaliningrad and Voronezh oblast). Experts presented bogies of legislative and executive government, local authorities, scientific and pedagogic communities (n = 71). During the research, experts were asked to construct two images of Russia – in the present and future, frameworks of forecasts – 35–40 years. Authors analyzed not only the core components of the country image in the present and future, but evaluated their dynamics. Noted, the future of Russia will be associates with the overcoming of social and economic problems, accumulated social-demographic, ideological, and moral problems of society. Components that are more evident and stronger in the image of Russia nowadays remain static in the future.
