CHINA CONTEMPORARY ART ON THE EXAMPLE OF SONGZHUANG PAINTERS WORKS OF SONGZHUANG PAINTERS

Abstract

This article reviews a brief history of the rise of the new rationalism, which led to neoclassical trends in the literary and artistic fields. In terms of ideological content, neoclassicism and classicism differ, but nevertheless there are similarities between them in terms of creative methods. The work analyzes the work of Zhang Jianqiang, a prominent representative of the group of Songzhuan artists, who paints paintings in the style of neorealism. His work is very different from the work of the masters of modern art who have dominated for two decades. Zhang's works and creative ideas raise social, cultural, and political issues.
