INTEGRATION OF FOREIGNERS IN THE STUDENT ENVIRONMENT ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE FAR EASTERN FEDERAL UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The international level of communication in the modern world occupies an important part of the existence and development of political and economic relations between different states. The COVID-19 epidemic has had an impact on global tourism, putting a stop to one of the ways people are exposed to different types of culture. However, one of the popular opportunities for integrating people into the social environment of another ethnic group is studying at a higher educational institution in this state. Direct residence in one territory and communication with representatives of another nation contribute to a deeper understanding and familiarization with certain features of a different cultural group. The work of various public organizations on the basis of the Far Eastern Federal University is a clear example of the qualitative inclusion of foreigners in the realities of Russian life, as well as familiarization of local students with the cultural traditions and characteristics of other peoples.
