ARCHAEOLOGICAL RESEARCH IN THE SERVICE OF CIVIL AND PATRIOTIC EDUCATION: HISTORICAL EXPERIENCE OF POLICULTURAL INTERACTION OF THE POPULATION OF THE UPPER OB REGION OF THE EARLY IRON AGE

Abstract

Archaeological research contributes to the involvement of the student community in the historical experience of polycultural interaction in many ways. Traditionally, this happens in the process of studying ancient material culture, in which a person encounters a different world of things than his usual one. In addition, the process of this interaction is carried out, as a rule, in the immersive conditions of field expeditions, which often take place in remote areas and in a diverse environment, a team engaged in a common cause – the extraction of historical information. At the same time, the experience of polycultural interaction can be considered directly on the archaeological material. The new experience gained in this way can be applied to build an effective social landscape in the modern world, contribute to the fight against both regional separatist and any nationalist currents and their ideologies based on historical interpretations.
