Abstract
This article discusses the use of conceptual maps and the "IDEAL" strategy in the study of the epic "Manas" in English language lessons. The authors analyze the effectiveness of these methods for developing students' reading, comprehension, and text interpretation skills, as well as for increasing motivation to learn English.
