Abstract
In modern education, attention to the issues of adaptation of first-year students in universities occupies a key place. The process of adaptation of new students is one of the most important stages in the formation of successful academic and social activity of students, especially in the context of their stay at the university during the semester and further in the academic year. In this regard, the implementation of adaptation measures becomes an integral part of the work of educational institutions. The Far Eastern Federal University, as one of the leading educational institutions in the region, faces special challenges in ensuring a comfortable and productive stay for first-year students. The effectiveness of adaptation measures depends not only on the level of student achievement, but also on their social adaptation and satisfaction with the educational process, which in turn affects the image of the university.
