CIVIC CONTROL AS A MECHANISM OF COUNTERACTION AGAINST CORRUPTION

Abstract
In contemporary Russia one of most important means of the fight against corruption is the reduction of corruption practices in state and municipal authorities. It could be done, among other things, by the control of the power by citizens and structures of civil society. The article considers the problem of efficacy of interaction between institutions of civil society and the State in the field of counteraction against corruption, investigates forms and mechanisms of public anti-corruption control, as well as real practices and problems of participation of civil society institutes in the ani-corruption policy.
