Abstract

In the scientific article the main directions of corruption counteraction in the conditions of modern Russian reality are considered. The study focuses on the primary need to create a strong socio-economic basis for the functioning of the state apparatus, thereby eliminating the conditions for the emergence of corruption phenomena of social reality, which is much more profitable than the fight against the consequences of corruption-related offenses. Finally, the scientific article notes the importance of social control as a means of combating corruption in modern conditions, analyzes the most relevant forms of its implementation, as well as trends in the development of methods and means of social control using the latest information technologies.
