FEATURES OF INTERETHNIC INTERACTION AND CONFLICTS IN THE RUSSIAN SOCIETY

Abstract

article is devoted to consideration of specifics of interethnic interaction and the conflicts in modern Russian society. The author pays attention to a research of the main sources of emergence of interethnic tension, the threats connected with arrival of migrants to the accepting regions. Results of a research of the reasons and prerequisites of the interethnic conflicts are presented in article, studying was carried out within work of laboratory of the migration and interethnic conflicts of the Educational and scientific and practical center of the resolution of conflicts functioning at the Oryol state university of I.S. Turgenev. With the author it is highlighted that an optimum way of settlement of the interethnic conflicts is the compromise, and by the most effective method of prevention of the interethnic conflicts – studying of culture of other ethnic groups and manifestation of tolerance.
