INTER-CONFESSIONAL RELATIONS AS A FACTOR OF SOCIAL SECURITY OF POPULATION (BY MATERIALS OF SOCIOLOGICAL RESEARCH IN THE ASTRAKHAN REGION

Abstract

The subject of this article is the analysis of the population's assessments of interfaith relations and key problems in different spheres of public life. Special attention is paid to identifying the features of perception of social security in the context of interfaith relations of the Astrakhan region. In the process of research the analysis of interfaith relations (on the basis of statistical data) is carried out, the key social problems of the region are defined. The main method of research is a questionnaire survey of the population of the Astrakhan region, conducted in 2018. The results of the sociological study indicate that the role of interfaith relations play a minor role in ensuring the social security of the region in comparison with other problems.
