ECULIARITIES OF ROUND DANCE SONGS OF ALTAI OLD-TIMERS

Abstract

This article discusses the regional specificity of the round-dance songs of old-timers of Altai, which occupied a special place in the ethnoculture of Siberians, intended for acquaintance and communication of young people. In this connection, the work has systematized a regional folk song material about the dance tradition of the old-timer villages. It reveals the peculiarities of the existence of round dances and round dance songs that had a seasonal spring-summer entrenched in the villages of the Russian old-timers, including old-timer kerzhaky and old-timer poles, provides local names for round dance songs. The musical-poetic analysis of round-dance songs, revealing topics, song compositional forms, modal and melodic-rhythmic features of the songs аlso presented.
