CORRUPTION: DEFINITION, GENERAL THEORETICAL ANALYSIS AND METHODICAL APPROACHES TO ITS RESEARCH

Abstract

The subject of the study are certain provisions of the legislation on corruption, as well as law enforcement practice from the point of view of their compliance with the legislation on anti-corruption. The object of the study are public relations in the field of combating corruption. The author focuses on the issues of methodological support for the concept of corruption, options for its use in the conditions of scientific research, law enforcement practice. The study used general theoretical analysis. The author proves that a methodologically competent approach to the study of corruption allows us to identify many approaches to its study. A critical assessment of the current state of anti-corruption in Russian society is given. Attention is drawn to the fact that one of the components in the fight against corruption is the civil society, first of all its potential, based on the ability to use the possibilities of the methodology.
