Abstract
The article considers the results of an empirical study of corruption based on a sociological survey. The author gives the assessment of the corruptional behavior of people in the Altai territory, their awareness of anti-corruption policy and their attitude to the measures accepted to combat corruption. Taking into account the results of the sociological research, recommendations are formulated to improve public awareness and form a more extensive legal framework in the field of anti-corruption policy.
