Abstract

Authors preliminary describe position of migrants at regional labor markets: preservation of occupation in accepting region, employment and sphere of employment, way, place and duration of job search, legal employment, and right violations in the sphere of labor. The survey covered 843 of migrants in seven border regions of Russia. At present there no no absolute safe and comfort conditions for migrant’s labor. Work in Russia often combined with lose of profession, ‘lowering of the status of occupation’, and lower salaries, correspondingly. The search for job for migrants is dominantly informal, and labor is discriminated.
