Abstract
The vegetation of the Zeya State Nature Reserve (Amur Region) is represented mainly by a variety of forest communities. The territory is dominated by primary forests of Gmelin's larch (Larix gmelinii (Rupr.) Rupr.), the second place in terms of area is occupied by secondary communities with the participation of flat-leaved white birch (Betula platyphylla Sukacz.). In the course of the work carried out in August 2024 on the 37–63 km section of the Zolotogorsk highway, 11 complete geobotanical relevés of forest communities dominated by Betula platyphylla were made. Among them, there are both rich and less diverse communities in terms of species composition. The flora of the described communities includes 49 species of plants.
