Abstract
Urtica dioica has significant reserves of raw materials in Russia [6], contains a large number of various biologically active substances such as chlorophylls, flavonoids, carotenoids, vitamins, thanks to which it has various pharmacological effects (stimulates hematopoiesis, has bactericidal, antiviral, and immunostimulating effects, as well as as a prebiotic in complex therapy of dysbiosis), but is rarely used for drug development. According to the data from the Unified Register of State Registration, an oral solution, an alcohol and oil solution for local and external use, tablets for resorption, thick extract and capsules are registered in Russia with chlorophyll, while Eucalyptus and Morus leaves and Medicago herb are most often used for production [3]. In this regard, the development of a drug for internal use using chlorophylls isolated from Urtica dioica leaves is relevant.
