FORMATION OF THE OPTIMAL MODEL OF SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT IN BARNAUL AGGLOMERATION
Abstract
In the current economic situation, the issues of effective development of territories are becoming increasingly important. Agglomeration processes make it possible to involve additional resources in the development of the economy, increase the manageability of territories and improve the quality of life of the population. With the adoption of important strategic documents at the Federal level that determine the spatial development of the country, the integration activity of the regions increases.
All of this suggests the need to study and search for the optimal model of spatial development of the agglomeration, primarily at the regional level between municipalities. In this study, the author analyzes the consequences of changing the boundaries of the existing agglomeration and draws conclusions about the optimal form of interaction between municipalities.
