УДК 332.144:338.439
Abstract
The article substantiates the relevance of the study of the dynamics of the development of the food system in the regions of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation, because the degree of increment in the food production rate in the main industries (agriculture, crop farming and animal breeding) affects the provision of these territories with labor forces. It affects the implementation of national and federal projects, target programs for further extension of production and economic activities in the Arctic territories. Examines the dynamic of changes in a group of indicators presented in the annual State statistical reporting of the Russian Federation. This group of three indicators reflects the dynamic of changes in production indices in the main sectors of the food system in the regions of the Arctic zone: agriculture, crop farming and animal breeding. Arranging the positions of the regions according to these three studied indicators, which was carried out in the process of comparison study, allowed us to conclude that in none of the regions has there been a tendency to increase the growth rates of production of agricultural, crop farming and animal breeding products, which provide the consumer markets of the Arctic regions with food products.
