TECHNOLOGIES OF REGULATION OF ETHNIC-CULTURAL CONFICTS IN REGIONAL SOCIETY

Abstract

The article deals with modern technologies of settlement and resolution of ethno-cultural conflicts in regional society – direct negotiations, mediation, facilitation, consultation, etc. Addressing this topic is quite relevant and significant in the modern period. Ethno-cultural conflict in society is considered as a special type of social conflict. The main provisions of the classical conflict theory are analyzed. The conclusion is made about the «normality» of conflict in the sphere of multinational relations in society. The author considers the main forms of managerial influence on ethnic and cultural conflicts in the region. Information and legislative measures are proposed for the development of modern technologies for peaceful conflict resolution in the field of multinational relations and the introduction of the social institution of mediation in the process of resolving ethnic and cultural conflicts in local societies.
