USING OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN POLITICAL COMMUNICATION IN THE EURASIAN SPACE

Abstract

The article illustrates a new approach for understanding political communication in the context of digital reality as a subject focus, the author chooses political protest as one of the forms of political communication to demonstrate the changes that the political reality of society is undergoing. In the article, the author pursues the following goals: to conceptualize the concepts of «digitalization» and «political communication»; to conduct a comparative analysis of the countries of the Eurasian space in what changes the practice of political participation is undergoing; consider new formats of political protest in modern society, formed under the influence of intensive digitalization processes. The results of the research will allow us to use them as a theoretical and methodological framework in applied research, and as a general description for analyzing active changes in social reality in the political sphere.
