ETHNO-CULTURAL COMPONENT OF THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF A UNIVERSITY TEACHER

Abstract

The trends of ethno-cultural integration in the modern world have a corresponding impact on the educational process. The modern Russian university is a multicultural space in which ethno-cultural specifics should be taken into account. Researchers in the field of understanding integration processes in education note the need to address the ethno-cultural specifics of the student environment, with which university teachers interact directly, first of all. The university teacher, as the main driving force of the learning process, thus plays an important role in this. It is in the process of teaching that it is possible not only to take into account the ethnocultural specifics of students, but also the peculiarities of their future professional activity. Thus, a significant place is occupied by understanding the content of the ethno-cultural component in the professional activity of a teacher at a university, as well as the features of its implementation both at the level of teaching methods and in the content.
