INTERPERSONAL CONFLICT IN ORGANIZATION: CAUSES AND FUNCTIONS

Abstract

One of the elements of modern society is organization. During the lifetime, a person could be a part of different organizations, which have their personal structure, aims and tasks. In course of communication of two or more people, conflicts arise, caused by different reasons, also conflicts arise in organization structure. Causes of conflicts could be objective and subjective, express in different forms and have constructive and destructive repercussion. Understanding of organizational conflict as a complex phenomenon, which has its personal qualities, is necessary for a qualitative teamwork management. This article reveals the concept of interpersonal conflict in organization, presents main classification of its causes, as well as constructive and destructive functions.
