Abstract
Analysis of gene expression and protein synthesis induced by key phytoimmunity factors – salicylic and jasmonic acids in pea roots was carried out. It was shown that the most strongly induced proteins are not the generally accepted marker proteins characteristic of each phytohormone. Salicylic acid most significantly induces chitinase-like proteins in pea roots, while jasmonate-dependent proteins are Kunitz-type proteinases inhibitors.
