УДК 332.1:314.18:330.34
Abstract
The article examines the key challenges and threats to socio-economic development of territories under conditions of population aging. The «youngest» and «oldest» regions have been identified. A diagnostic assessment of the economic security status of the Republic of Mordovia under demographic aging has been conducted. Approaches to risk mitigation are considered, and directions for adaptive social policy requiring transformations to transition towards active longevity are proposed.
The purpose of this article is to diagnose crisis situations emerging in the regional economic security system under the influence of demographic aging, and to develop evidence-based proposals for risk reduction and social policy adaptation.
The research methodology includes a systematic approach to the analysis of demographic and economic indicators, the identification of a system of indicators for diagnosing the economic security status of a territory under demographic aging, the use of threshold values of normative indicators, and zonal classification of risks in the field of economic security.
