Abstract

The article is devoted to the construction of an approximate mathematical regional model of the inter-industry balance for Altai Territory in 2021. The relevance of this work stems from the necessity of making high-quality managerial decisions based on statistical data analysis.

To construct the approximate model, we used as a basis the statistical data of Russia's inter-industry balances for 2016 and 2021, along with Primorsky Territory’s inter-industry balance for 2013. At the intersection of corresponding industries, average values were calculated for direct expenditure coefficients of these inter-industry balances, which served as initial approximations. Additionally, it was taken into account that the sum of coefficients across each column equals the ratio between intermediate consumption of the industry to its gross output. Based on the obtained model, simulation calculations were conducted and conclusions formulated. The greatest increase in gross output results from increased final demand in such sectors as «Water supply; sewage, waste collection and disposal activities; remediation services» and «Extraction of minerals», followed by «Electricity, gas, steam production and air conditioning», «Processing industries» and «Construction». Approximately 86% of total final consumption is directed by wholesale trade, while processing industries follow closely behind.

The most critical industries upon whose activity the Gross Regional Product depends are agriculture and manufacturing industries; it is essential to actively support increasing the number of enterprises within these sectors.
