NATURE-LIKE TECHNOLOGIES FOR PLANT WASTE UTILIZATION: ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL FEASIBILITY
УДК 330:658.567.1
Abstract
The article considers the problem of wood and plant waste in the context of the realization of the project "Closed Cycle Economy". Statistical data on the number of unauthorized landfills in Russia for the period 2020-2024, as well as data on the number of fires and damage associated with wood and plant waste were analyzed. The scheme of involvement of vegetative wastes in the natural biogeochemical cycle is offered on the example of their use as bedding for horses and organic fertilizer. The economic and ecological feasibility of this approach is emphasized, as well as the need to develop methodologies and economic mechanisms for the return of wood-plant wastes into the natural cycle.
The article analyzes the economic efficiency from environmental projects related to waste utilization. The formula for estimation of economic efficiency is given. It is concluded that nature-like technologies are one of the key factors of sustainable development of society in the conditions of growing anthropogenic load on the environment.
