CONCEPTUAL MODEL OF EVALUATING RESULTS OF ECONOMIC GROWTH AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONS IN PROCESSES OF ADDED VALUE CHAINS FORMATION: THEORY AND METHODOLOGY
Abstract
The article is devoted to solving the problems of economic growth and economic development of regions by creating logically valid chains of value (added value). With the exhaustion of the potential of existing technologies to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of enterprises, industries, complexes, regions, the country as a whole can be achieved only through the development of inter-firm relations and cooperative economic ties. One of the modern forms of inter-firm relations and interactions are value chains (value-added chains). Such a chain is a logically verified sequence of organizations carrying out the procedures and processes for preparing to manufacturing, actually manufacturing, marketing, which creates and provides value to both the end-users of the product and the participants in the chains. Obviously, for regions the benefits of creating such forms of inter-firm interactions are expressed in their economic growth and economic development. As a theoretical and methodological basis for regional development through the use of chains of inter-firm interactions, it is proposed to use J. Schumpeter's theory of economic development, the classical theory of reproduction in refracting it through the prism of problems in the regional economy and the theory of economic circulation. The article presents the directions for creating a conceptual model for the growth of the region's economy combining elements of the theory of economic development according to J. Schumpeter and elements (processes) of regional reproduction. In the model, he plays the role of a material source of development and growth of the economy of the regions. As a practical basis in the circulation model, it is proposed to use various forms of inter-firm interactions (inter-firm cooperation), including the form of value chains (chains of added value creation). The urgency of solving these problems is due to the entry of society into the era of the knowledge economy, in which the role of science as an immediate productive force increases, and occasional changes in the material component of the productive forces, which change the cycle vector, as J. Schumpeter wrote, "There is nothing more permanent than change"). This necessitates a rethinking of the theory of circulation and reproduction in the direction of ensuring stable economic development and the growth of the economy of the regions, which is the subject of this article. It should be noted that some of the theoretical provisions of the proposed model in the article are of a staged nature and require more in-depth scientific research. Approbation of the same general provisions of the model, carried out at enterprises of the branches of the agro-industrial complex of the Altaisky Krai, shows its practical importance and the possibility of application in the management of the economic development of the regions.Downloads
