MANAGEMENT EFFICIENCY OF REGIONAL SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
The ongoing changes in the mechanism of economic management of a region during the last decade emphasize the specialists’ and researchers’ attention on the problem of measuring the results and effectiveness of managing the social and economic development of regions. In this article the need for a comprehensive assessment of the development level of territorial systems based on the systematization of key tools for state regulation of regional economy is substantiated. Special attention should be paid to foreign and domestic experience in the development of indicators and criteria for the effectiveness of social and economic development of the regions. Some modern approaches and criteria that should be considered when developing indicators of social and economic development of the regions are introduced.Downloads
