Images of Love, War and Fashion in the Ideological and Semantic Field of T. I. Plotnikova's Works

Abstract

The article deals with the aesthetic and moral basis of the work of Barnaul poet and artist T.I. Plotnikova. Emphasis is placed on images of war, love and fashion. Peculiar features of T.I. Plotnikova’s graphics are described. The softness and blurriness of a dot technique organically embodies the plots and images of the drawings, which are generalized and symbolic. The details are metaphorical and serve as the most complete embodiment of the idea contained in the image. The combination of genuine realism and the magic of romantic sensations gives T. Plotnikova’s works special expressiveness. And some naivety in poetic, graphic images makes her artistic style outstanding and truly unique. In the works of Tamara Plotnikova, all-consuming images of love are transmitted through craving for each other, which conveys the author’s respect for humans, reveals their dignity, reverence for the nature. In her poems, graphics and paintings, images of love highlight the value of the personality of the lover, aimed at the value of the personality of the object of love. For the lover gives the beloved a new dimension of the personal self- to be «for them». Love for a person is an addition to a personality value as it gives meaning to its being.
